Mission Astra is an educational mobile game for Awesome Women In Construction (AWIC)- and also my Capstone Project at QUT.




Mission Astra! Help Blobe the alien escape earth by touring a space facility, and learning how to fix his ship.

Mission Astra is an educational game made to teach young women about the many roles and professions of the space industry. Sprinkled in between are minigames related to the jobs- such as marketing and engineering
My Contributions
For this project, I split the workload of game development between three programmers, and the artwork with an artist. I lead the management of the game through developing sprint schedules and organizing tasks between each member.

My primary job was the development of the 3D environments, as well as designing and programming two minigames: a marketing game about managing social media, and a propulsion engineering game about creating rocket fuel.
​
I also contributed towards developing the art style for the character avatars- and the final look of the main character Blobe.
